Christmas is just around the corner! There are so many ways to make it special for your baby’s first Christmas! Here are a few ideas to start some traditions and make some memories that you’ll always cherish.

1. Take a holiday photo

I am all for high quality photos and setups for babies! Schedule an appointment to have professional, priceless pictures of your little one in this special time or take some of your own! There are so many routes to go and poses to choose—from taking pictures at a tree farm to capturing a shot of them eating Santa’s cookies!

2. Find a Christmas stocking for the baby

It’s a classic tradition to hang your stockings over the fireplace (or on a shelf if you don’t have one) and fill them with little goodies and surprises for Christmas Day. Make it special by starting this tradition for your little one’s first Christmas

3. Decorate the tree

Most baby’s are bound to be curious upon seeing a Christmas tree getting set up. Let them participate by helping hang some ornaments if they’re old enough or even buying a “baby’s first Christmas” ornament to hang up in years to come. And make sure to take lots of pictures!

4. Read Christmas stories

Make this a special time of year by reading Christmas stories leading up to Christmas and snuggling. There are so many books to choose from that any baby and parent can find something that fits them!

5. Meet Santa for the first time

Whether your baby is well behaved and awed by Santa or crying and wailing, you’ll want some photos of them sitting on Santa’s lap in the years to come. Visit your local mall to capture those precious memories (or if you’re feeling adventurous, you can see if the Grinch is available to meet nearby, too!)
