Humidifier

Everyone always forgets the humidifier! Especially if you live in a dry climate, like eastern Idaho, you will need this. You baby has been surrounded by liquids throughout their entire existence, and all of a sudden they are birthed into a dry world. A humidifier can help your newborns transition to life outside the womb. I recommend finding one that is easy to clean and has high reviews.

Newborn Mittens

If you are having a fall or winter baby, then mittens seem to be a no-brainer! However, babies due in the warmer months of the year need mittens too. You little bundle of joy doesn’t have a lot of motor skills to begin with, but does have some sharp finger nails. Combines that with the delicate newborn skin and you have the perfect recipe for disaster. Protect your newborns face from scratches by covering their little hands with mittens.

Nursing Pads

Whether you are planning to breastfeed or not, nursing pads are a must on your newborn registry! If you are going to nurse long term, then its kind of obvious why you would need these. If you are not wanting to nurse for more than the first few days, these will also come in handy! As your milk comes in these will ensure that the rest of your stays dry. I recommend getting reusable nursing pads to cut down on the many cost that come with being a parent.

Bottles

Okay, not just bottles, but a variety of bottles! You never know which bottle your baby will take preference for. By having a variety of bottles on your newborn registry you save yourself the many trips to the store picking out different bottles for your potentially picky baby. Not to mention, you will also save a ton of money!
