Why I Love In Studio Newborn Sessions

So many things become out of your control when you have a new baby. You never know when the next blowout is, or how your body is going to feel the next day. With all the uncertainty that comes with being a mom, it is nice to have something that is stable to look forward to. And that is exactly what I love about newborn photography in studio. The majority of my newborn photography takes place in studio, which I love! There are just so many benefits of taking newborn photos in a studio, so let me talk you into it!

Lighting

One of the biggest stressors of photography is lighting. Lighting really makes or breaks a session, and with newborns we don’t want to risk losing these precious photos because of bad lighting. However, in studio that is no longer a worry! We have completely control of the lighting! The warmth or coolness, the direction and the intensity. In studio newborn sessions definitely have the best lighting!

Privacy

When we are together in my Idaho Falls studio you don’t have to worry about strangers peeking in, or a neighbor knocking on your door. You will have complete privacy, creating a very special and intimate environment to cuddle your newborn and capture the most meaningful moments you will want to remember for a life time. We also offer you space to nurse or feed your baby if needed, so that you and baby can be as comfortable as possible!

Swaddles & Props

With newborn photography there are so many options. From different colored back drops, to swaddles, and don’t get me started on props! Teddies, stars, flowers, buckets, bows, bonnets, the list just goes on and on! When in studio for your newborn photography you have access to my entire stash. You get to pick out your favorite little items for your baby to grip onto in their newborn photos!

Having and in studio newborn session has so many benefits! I absolutely love the control and opportunity that in studio provides. I would love to talk more with your about your dreams and visions for your newborn photos! Let’s connect and chat!
